Delta Sigma Theta Doc Uses AKA Patient’s Surgery to Praise Her Sorority , then Apologizes.

A Surgeon who is a member of the Delta Sigma Theta sorority is now apologizing from posting a picture from a patients surgery who was in another surgery to plug the founders day of her sorority.

Here is her original post.

Dr. Nicole E. .Williams upset quite a few people when she shared photos of a surgery procedure that she performed on January 13th.  The issue at hand was that she boasted about removing 22 fibroids from a patient who is the member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority, a sorority that at times rivals her sorority , the Delta Sigma Theta sorority.

Because the day was also the founders day of her sorority she posted the 22 fibroids online with her flashing her sorority symbol showing that her sorority had 22 founders.  The backlash was immediate and harsh so she ended up putting out an apology.

She stated on Instagram “A terrible decision was made. I unequivocally and prayerfully apologize for any hurt I may have caused. It is my hope one day to live up to the high ideals that I have so damaged. The only thing I can do is to keep working hard in the future.”
