Steph Curry, LeBron James Top NBA’s Jersey Sales for 2024-25 Season

Two legendary NBA stars and future first-ballot Hall of Famers are leading the way in jersey sales thus far during the 2024-25 season.

Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry has the highest-selling jersey this season, followed by Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James.

Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum, New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson and San Antonio Spurs center Victor Wembanyama round out the top five.

In terms of overall team merchandise sales on NBAStore.com, the reigning NBA champion Celtics lead the way, followed by the Lakers, Knicks, Warriors and Chicago Bulls:

Curry, 36, was officially voted an All-Star starter Thursday, marking the 11th All-Star selection of his career.

His scoring average of 22.6 points per game this season is his lowest in a season since 2011-12 with the exception of the 2019-20 campaign when injuries limited to five games, but he has still been a highly productive player.

Curry is dishing out 6.3 assists per game and knocking down 4.3 three-pointers per game, while shooting at a 40.7 percent clip from downtown.

The four-time NBA champion, two-time NBA MVP and one-time NBA Finals MVP has already cemented his place in NBA history as arguably the greatest shooter ever thanks to his NBA-record 3,903 career three-pointers made.

James, 40, was also named an All-Star starter, and he extended his all-time record with a 21st career All-Star nod.

Like Curry, LeBron's numbers are down a bit this season, but he is still averaging 23.6 points, 8.9 assists, 7.7 rebounds and 2.2 three-pointers made per game, while shooting 51.1 percent from the field and 39.4 percent from deep.

That level of production at the age of 40 is essentially unprecedented, but not surprising given what the four-time NBA champion, four-time NBA MVP, four-time NBA Finals MVP and all-time NBA scoring leader has accomplished during his 22-year career.

While some jerseys lose their luster once a player is traded or signs elsewhere in free agency, a Curry Warriors jersey or James Lakers jersey will remain iconic long after they retire.

Both players have given their fans plenty to root and cheer for this season as well since they are in the thick of the Western Conference playoff race.

It has been an up-and-down year for Curry's Warriors, as they are 11th in the West at 22-22.

Golden State is just half-game behind the Phoenix Suns for the No. 10 seed, which is the final spot in the postseason play-in tournament, but also just three games behind the sixth-seeded Los Angeles Clippers.

Getting the No. 6 seed or better is typically the goal for teams since it allows them to avoid the play-in tournament completely.

If the season were to end today, James and the Lakers would be above the cut-off line, as they are fifth in the West with a 24-18 mark.

Somewhat surprisingly, neither of the NBA's top two teams this season have representation within the top 10 jerseys sold, although they aren't far off the pace.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who is the best player for the Western Conference-leading Oklahoma City Thunder, is 11th on the list. Meanwhile, the NBA-best Cleveland Cavaliers just crept into the top 15 with guard Donovan Mitchell at No. 15.

The only team to land multiple players in the top 15 is the Suns, who have Kevin Durant at 13th and Devin Booker at 14th.

Trump says $72bn Netflix-Warner Bros deal “could be a problem”

US President Donald Trump has flagged potential concerns over Netflix's planned $72bn (£54bn) deal to buy Warner Brothers Discovery's movie studio and popular HBO streaming networks. At an event in Washington DC on Sunday, he said Netflix has a "big market share" and the firms' combined size "could be a problem". On Friday, the two companies said they had reached an agreement to bring Warner Brothers' franchises like Harry Potter and Game of Thrones to Netflix, creating a new media giant. The

Moscow Welcomes New US Security Strategy, Says It Aligns With Russia’s Vision

Russia has welcomed US President Donald Trump's new National Security Strategy, calling it "largely consistent" with Moscow's vision.  The 33-page document, unveiled by the US administration this week, suggests Europe is facing "civilisational erasure" and does not cast Russia as a threat to the US.  Combatting foreign influence, ending mass migration, and rejecting the EU's perceived practice of "censorship" are mentioned as other priorities in the report.  Several EU officials and analysts

US National Park Service removes free entry on MLK Day and Juneteenth

The US National Park Service (NPS) is removing Martin Luther King Jr Day and Juneteenth from its list of fee-free entrance days. The move is part of President Donald Trump’s “modernisation” of the park service, which, beginning in 2026, also includes changing the parks’ cost structure to favour American citizens over foreign visitors, following a July executive order from Trump. In addition to removing the two holidays that celebrate civil rights leader MLK Jr and the end of slavery in the US,
