The unassuming Netflix original series Squid Game holds the pinnacle spot on their top 10 global rankings list. The show knocked Clickbait out of the number one spot and took off. Netflix's most streamed original content of all time includes Extraction, starring megastar Chris Hemsworth (with 99 million account views) and the Shonda Rhimes produced series Bridgerton (with 82 million account views). Squid Game surpassed them both, garnering over 111 million account views.

Today is the series' 21st consecutive day in the number one spot, sparking viral posts on Instagram and other platforms, all over social media. King Bach, an influencer turned professional working actor and serial entrepreneur, posted about the show in a Reel that instantly went viral. The video now has over 4.2 million views with well over 400 thousand likes. Squid Game is the first Korean series on Netflix.
