Nicki Minaj has expressed regret to her fans for the postponement of a concert in England on Saturday, following an incident where she was detained by Dutch police.

In a social media video shared on Saturday, Minaj revealed her encounter with Dutch law enforcement, who allegedly accused her of carrying drugs. After spending several hours in police custody, she was compelled to cancel her scheduled performance on her Pink Friday 2 World Tour. Despite this setback, Minaj personally met with fans outside her hotel in Manchester to extend her apologies for the unexpected disruption.

In a heartfelt message, Minaj conveyed her love for her fans and apologized for the unfortunate turn of events. She also took to Twitter to express gratitude to those who supported her during the ordeal, offering blessings and expressing her hope for divine protection.

Minaj didn't shy away from addressing her frustration with the Dutch police, accusing them of deliberately obstructing her performance plans. She recounted their efforts to prevent her from taking the stage and highlighted her determination to perform, even under challenging circumstances.

Asserting her intent to pursue legal recourse against the Amsterdam police, Minaj emphasized her commitment to revealing the truth of the situation. She documented her encounter with law enforcement in real-time, sharing video evidence of the incident and expressing confidence in her legal team and faith to navigate the aftermath.

The artist, aged 41, documented her arrest on Instagram Live and was subsequently released from police custody. Reports suggest she was fined 350 Euros (approximately $380) in connection with the incident.
