The body of a 58-year-old man was discovered in County Wexford on Tuesday, prompting the opening of a murder investigation.

Shortly after 11:00 local time, the Gardaí (Irish police) and emergency services were summoned to a property in Cluain Fada, New Ross, for an incident.

The man, identified locally as John O'Connor, was discovered unconscious. A moment later, he was declared dead at the spot.

Gardaí said they are treating the death as murder after a post-mortem examination on Wednesday. For operational reasons, the post-mortem's findings are not being made public.

In relation to the incident, two males were taken into custody on Tuesday. There is still one man in his 30s in detention. No charges have been brought against the second man.

The Garda Technical Bureau is still investigating the scene. The Gardaí are urging anyone with camera video or witnesses to get in touch with them.

Keke Palmer & Demi Lovato Get Candid About Dating Older Men as Teenagers

Both began their careers young, and their conversation suggested that the environment of child stardom often blurred boundaries that seem clearer with time. Roughly 14 minutes into the episode, Palmer paus

Tekashi 6ix9ine Begins 3‑Month Jail Term for Violating Supervised Release

Tekashi 6ix9ine has started a three‑month federal prison sentence after a judge ruled he repeatedly violated the terms of his supervised release in his New York gang case. The rapper, born Daniel Hernandez, admitted to several breaches in 2025, including using cocaine and MDMA and getting into a physical altercation with a man at a Florida mall while he was still on supervised release from his 2018 racketeering conviction.
