Deshaun Watson has been dating his girlfriend Jilly Anais since 2019, and now he’s making it official; well, at least, ink official. The Cleveland Browns quarterback received the large-scale ink art from acclaimed tattoo artist to the “NFL-MLB-NBA” Andres Ortega. He has a private studio in Arizona, where many of his celebrity clients frequent.
The entire back of the 6-foot-2 quarterback is filled to the brim. It features his girlfriend prominently on his upper left shoulder blade area, directly opposite of his mother, who is featured on the right side. He pays a nod to his neighborhood, where he grew up, as well as the championships he has won thus far with depictions of his rings. One was intentionally left blank so he could presumably fill it in with a future Super Bowl championship.
The inspiration behind the tattoo seems to be about grabbing hold of greatness, with words like “More Glory” and “LEGENDARY” seen prominently displayed across the landscape. He even has Martin Luther King, Jr., with an “I HAVE A DREAM” written on a fitted cap worn by the civil rights leader. What’s clear is that this tattoo has a lot of meaning to Watson, and with the upcoming season brewing it will sure to be a source of inspiration and drive for the superstar in Cleveland.
